02. Do I need to have my own architect or plans ready?
Not at all. While we are happy to work with your existing architect, we also offer a full Architectural Design & Customization service. We can help you design a structure that perfectly complements your home’s existing aesthetic and meets your specific lifestyle needs.
03. How involved do I need to be during the build?
As much or as little as you like. We take full control of the logistics and project management. Because we provide regular digital photo and video updates, you can stay informed on the progress from your phone or computer without ever needing to step foot on the site.
04. Will the price change once construction starts?
No. One of the pillars of our “Mastered Process” is the Detailed Proposal. We provide a transparent, fixed-price contract. Unless you choose to change the scope of the project mid-build, the price we agree on is the price you pay, no hidden fees or “surprise” costs.
05. Do you handle council approvals and building permits?
Yes. We handle the heavy lifting when it comes to local regulations. Our team ensures that your design meets all site compliance and building codes, and we manage the paperwork required to get your project approved and legal.
06. What types of detached structures do you specialize in?
While we are experts in Detached Garages, our portfolio includes high-clearance workshops, luxury guest cottages (sleepouts), hobby studios, and custom barns. If it’s a detached, high-quality structure, we can build it.
07. How long does a typical build take?
Timelines vary depending on the complexity of the design and site conditions. However, during Step 4 (The Detailed Proposal), we provide you with a clear, projected completion timeline so you know exactly when to expect your keys.
08. What is the MasterCraft Platinum Guarantee?
Our Platinum Guarantee is our “Built for Life” promise. It includes a 10-year residential guarantee insurance and a commitment to excellence. We don’t consider the job done until you are 100% satisfied during our final joint walkthrough.
